Message

From the President, Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan

In the present era, when the world—and particularly our society—is facing serious challenges such as extremism, sectarianism, intellectual confusion, and intolerance, the responsibility of religious education has become more important than ever. There is a pressing need for religious seminaries to prepare scholars who, with a correct understanding of the Qur'an and Sunnah, can play an effective role in promoting peace, love, moderation, tolerance, patience, brotherhood, and national unity. With this objective in view, Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, from the very beginning of its establishment, has laid the foundation of an educational, teaching, and training system that preserves the strong intellectual tradition of the traditional Dars-e-Nizami while remaining aligned with the academic, intellectual, and social requirements of the contemporary era. In our view, the purpose of religious education is not merely the teaching of religious texts, but the preparation of principled, insightful, and capable scholars and religious leaders who understand the demands of their time and possess the ability to guide society positively. The curriculum of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan includes a number of contemporary academic and intellectual works that promote a research-oriented approach, a sense of religious outreach, intellectual moderation, leadership skills, and an understanding of contemporary issues among students. In light of the reformative and renewal-oriented vision of Mujaddid al-Mi'ah al-Hadirah, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan gives fundamental importance in all its educational activities to the true teachings of Islam—peace and love, tolerance, moderation, patience, respect for humanity, and inter-sect harmony. We believe that the mosque, seminary, and mihrab should convey a message of goodness, wisdom, unity, and love to society—not hatred and division—because this represents the true spirit of Islam and the fundamental need of the contemporary era. By the grace of Allah Almighty, Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan has earned considerable trust and recognition among scholars, seminaries, educational circles, and various national institutions across the country. In a relatively short period, the institution has established a prominent position through its academic services, administrative reforms, transparent systems, and educational philosophy based on moderation. This trust is both an honor and a great responsibility, motivating us to move forward with greater sincerity, hard work, and dedication to the service of faith. We also thank Allah Almighty that Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan has been given the opportunity to play an effective role in the Mutahida Madaris Council, a platform for cooperation and collective efforts among religious seminaries. Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan is represented in this forum by its Nazim-e-Aala, Allama Dr. Mir Muhammad Asif Akbar Qadri. This responsibility reflects the confidence of religious circles in the academic seriousness, moderate outlook, and constructive services of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan. I pray that the Almighty accepts this effort, grants us the ability to serve the faith with sincerity and perseverance, and makes Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan a strong center of goodness, peace, and moderation for the Muslim Ummah and our beloved homeland. Ameen.
