Allama Dr. Mir Muhammad Asif Akbar Qadri, Nazim-e-Ala Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, addressed the International Paigham-e-Islam Conference held at the Convention Centre, Islamabad, highlighting Pakistan’s role in promoting peace, religious harmony, and unity across the Muslim world.
The conference was attended by prominent national and international dignitaries, including Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Chairman Senate of Pakistan; Allama Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulama Council; Sheikh Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia; Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Hussein, Grand Mufti of Palestine; and ambassadors and representatives from Türkiye and Palestine.
In his address, Allama Dr. Mir Muhammad Asif Akbar Qadri appreciated Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts toward promoting peace in the Middle East and greater cooperation among Muslim countries. He stated that following Maarka-e-Haq “Bunyan-un-Marsoos,” Pakistan had further strengthened its role in regional cooperation while continuing efforts to promote religious harmony and inter-sect tolerance within the country.
He particularly highlighted the contribution of the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee, stating that its initiatives, supported by the federal and provincial authorities, have helped strengthen the national message of peace, moderation, inter-sect harmony, and opposition to extremism and sectarian division.
